LEF Salutes a Teacher's Dreams Brunch

Envie Restaurant in Thibodaux was the site of the brunch held to honor Lafourche Parish's top teachers. Each of the 2011 Teachers of the Year were recognized, presented with monetary awards, gifts and a bag during the "LEF Salutes a Teacher's Dreams Brunch". Sponsored by Whitney Bank and the Daily Comet, media sponsor, the brunch was attended by approximately -- people. The top three teachers representing each level of education were: Michelle Morvant - Thibodaux Elementary, Jim Knobloch - East Thibodaux Middle and Anna Cole - Central Lafourche High.

Mr. Jimmy Vizier shared stories of interesting experiences he has encountered as an avid New Orleans Saints fan. Dr. Patricia Caillouet, LEF Board member was the mistress of ceremonies. Teachers who represented each of the public schools in Lafourche Parish included:
